Our trained engineers are able to advise of the different types of emergency lighting systems which may be employed and to give guidance on their correct application to the varied requirements of different categories of premises.

We can design, supply, install and commission Emergency Escape Lighting for different types of premises to conform to current British Standard regulations BS 5266-1. Emergency escape lighting is required to enable safe exit in the event of failure of the normal supply, they are a legal requirement. This type of emergency lighting forms part of the fire protection of a building.

Our service includes maintenance of existing emergency lighting systems as well as systems which we install, it can be provided for both self contained lighting units, or for central battery systems as well as conversion units that convert existing mains luminaires to give them emergency lighting ability. It is recommended that emergency lighting is checked twice each year. New or replacement systems can be supplied.

Emergency signs are also required and must be regularly cleaned, tested and maintained and visible at all times day and night. We can supply and fit these for you, or service existing signs.
